Berkeley Springs Brewing in Berkeley Springs, WV is looking for one prep / line cook to join our team. We are located on 110 Michigan Ln. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, peel, chop, and grate ingredients like fruits, vegatables, and meats
  • Measure and combine ingredients for recipes, including mixing sauces
  • Perform preliminary cooking tasks.
  • Preparing simple dishes, like salads and assemble components for other menu items
  • Keeping kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, taking out trash & boxes
  • Properly store all food items and rotate stock to maintain freshness
  • Follow recipes and prep lists
  • Follow instuctions from chef and managers

Qualifications

  • 18 year or older
  • Have a valid driver lincense or reliable transportant
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Work nights, weekends and some holidays
  • Have reliable babysitting ( if applies )
  • Food handler certification from ServSafe
  • Reading and understanding recipes and instructions
  • Being able to work as a team player
  • Time Management
  • Attention to details and watching dates
