Director of Business Development
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for driving new business growth around patient engagement offerings that leverage DrFirst's unique market position to deliver better outcomes. This role focuses on engaging patients in real-time with reliable, relevant, personalized, and actionable tools that educate, reduce costs, and facilitate participation. The Director will contribute to the emerging business unit by developing and selling digital media programs to pharmaceutical manufacturers and third-party media agencies. This individual will work closely with senior leadership on execution of strategy and collaborate with existing customers to maintain and grow relationships.
The Director will be responsible for identifying key stakeholders at target organizations and building productive relationships to drive revenue growth for the company.

What you will work on
Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry while maintaining and growing existing accountsManage and qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion to pipeline opportunitiesMeet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets for designated accounts and territoriesCreate and maintain strategic account plans with guidance from senior leadershipExecute sales strategies, pricing discussions, and deal negotiations to achieve assigned objectivesEngage with clients using a consultative approach to understand their business needs and recommend appropriate solutionsCollaborate with team members and product development to identify opportunities for new solutionsMaintain accurate pipeline forecasts and provide regular updates to sales management through SalesForce CRMSupport broader Consumer Solutions team initiatives and coordinate with other DrFirst teams to present integrated solutionsQualifications
Required :Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field5-8 years of sales, business development, or account management experience in healthcare technology (pharmaceutical industry experience strongly preferred)Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience managing and developing client relationships at multiple organizational levelsStrong understanding of digital marketing channels (mobile, web, social media)Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to deliver compelling presentationsProficiency with CRM systems and sales forecasting toolsAbility to build relationships with stakeholders from operational to director levelPreferred :Experience working with pharmaceutical manufacturers or media agenciesKnowledge of patient engagement and adherence solutionsUnderstanding of healthcare regulatory environmentExperience with consultative and solution-based selling methodologiesPhysical Requirements
