People Operations Coordinator (Contractor)

About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and people-focused People Operations Coordinator to join our growing People team. In this role, you'll support the day-to-day employee experiencefrom office management and onboarding to People operations and systems support. You'll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly while helping us evolve how we work as we grow. This is an in-person contract position with potential to convert to full-time for the right person.
Work Location : This is an in-person position. A desk and computer will be provided.
Hours : We generally work standard business hours, Monday-Friday, but we're flexible! As long as you're available between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (MT), we're happy to discuss a schedule that fits your needs.
What You'll Do
Office & Workplace Experience
- Manage daily office operations, including supplies, snacks, and lunch coordination. We cater!
- Support an upcoming office move by coordinating logistics and creating a welcoming, functional new space.
- Maintain an inclusive, organized, and engaging workplace for employees and visitors.
- Physical Requirements : This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
Culture & Engagement
Partner with the People team to plan in-office events, celebrations, and engagement activities.Help bring our values to life by fostering belonging and connection across the team.People Operations Support (optional growth area)
Assist with HRIS transformation and maintain data accuracy during system transitions.Support payroll, benefits, and compliance processes as needed.Coordinate onboarding logistics and ensure a smooth, positive new hire experience.Talent Support (optional growth area)
Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications.Maintain recruiting documentation and tracking, with opportunities to grow in this area.What You'll Bring
13 years of experience in HR, People Operations, Office Management, or a related administrative role.Familiarity with HR systems, payroll, or recruiting coordination preferred.Excellent organization and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsyou build trust and follow through.Comfort working with multiple systems and learning new tools quickly.Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.A proactive, problem-solving mindsetyou don't just identify issues, you help fix them.Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including sitting or standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.Why Join Us
