Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon, Washington is currently recruiting a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the accounting team of a full-service hospitality management company known for excellence in hotel operations and guest experience. This position is responsible for handing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and drafting financial reports. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working independently while supporting the broader administrative and operational goals of the company.

What you get to do :

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including journal entries, receipts, and payments in accordance with GAAP and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI)
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Handle payroll and employee benefits
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
• Prepare monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and cash flow summaries
• Support OTA reconciliations and vendor credit references
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager, Director of Operations, and other departments to complete records and supportive documentation, and in support of financial decision-making

What you need to be successful :

Schedule : Day Shift; 30 hours one week and 10-20 hours for the remainder of the month

Pay : $24.00 - $28.00 (DOE)
