Medical Collector

The Collector performs A / R collections and billing involving multiple insurance contracts & entities. Analyzes and audits accounts for correct balance, proper follow-up and complete reimbursement. Monitors collection issues and resolves with payor. Processes phone, online and paper inquiries and correspondence taking appropriate collection actions that may include : working rejections / denials, calling for status, tracer claims and rebilling. Identifies misapplied payments and requests payments, adjustments / transfers or refunds.

Required : HS Diploma, hospital collector experience requested

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Bernardino, CA.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
