• Job Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team for a part-time position primarily during the night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to established standards and protocols.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, treatments, and medical procedures as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, reporting any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and basic daily living activities to enhance patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication among staff members.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and other relevant topics to promote optimal care outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.
• Support the nursing team in administrative tasks and duties as necessary.
• Qualifications :
• Current and valid LVN license in California.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, with familiarity in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute care settings beneficial.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications may be advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Capable of working independently and efficiently as part of a team.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing empathetic and patient-centered care.
• Working Conditions :
• Part-time, night shift from 11 PM to 7 AM, including weekends and holidays as required.
• Physical demands include lifting, standing for extended periods, assisting patients with mobility, and performing various clinical tasks.
