About the Position

Seeking a creative, detail-oriented Short-Form Content Editor to lead production of short-form video for Frameshifts. You’ll transform long-form podcast episodes into engaging, platform-native clips for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and X / Twitter .

Core Responsibilities

  • Review & Edit Clips — Identify key moments and produce high-impact short-form videos .
  • Enhance Content — Add branding, captions, b-roll, sound effects, and light animations to optimize retention.
  • AI Workflows — Use Opus Clip and similar tools to accelerate and repurpose edits.
  • Brand Consistency — Maintain a cohesive visual style across all outputs.
  • Asset & Upload Management — Organize exports and upload completed clips to Google Drive .
  • Team Comms — Update the team via Slack when clips are ready for publishing.

Requirements

  • Video Editing Experience with social, podcast, or digital content (portfolio required).
  • Tools — Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro , Final Cut Pro , or similar.
  • AI Tools — Familiarity with Opus Clip (or willingness to learn).
  • Social Fluency — Understanding of trends, sounds, and editing styles that drive engagement.
  • Quality Focus — Consistent, polished deliverables.
  • Collaboration — Work smoothly with producers, hosts, and marketing.

  • Basic Audio — Comfort with leveling, noise control, and simple sound design.
  • Story Sense — Sharp judgment for moments that maximize retention.
