Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are excited to offer a dynamic opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist role with a focus on sourcing and pipelining activities. This virtual position supports multiple teams within our organization and is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a strategic mindset to hiring. Initially, this is a 4 to 5-month contract, with the potential to extend on a quarterly basis, up to 18 months.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs. Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, and employee referrals. Screen applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills. Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection. Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in the organization.

Essential Skills

6+ years of talent acquisition experience in a sourcing or recruiting capacity or a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field. Good understanding of talent markets and candidate profiles, with the ability to develop a strategy to achieve hiring objectives under tight deadlines. Fluent in advanced sourcing strategies, with proficiency across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Google Scholar, Hugging Face, and other open-source communities. Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Insights, and other sourcing tools, including creating sourcing strategies. Market analytics skills, understanding the market for the roles they are hiring for, and articulating to recruiters, internal sponsors, and leadership. Ability to consistently deliver qualified, calibrated talent, targeting at least 30 tech-screened candidates for volume pipelines or 15 deeply qualified candidates for more specialized, high-bar roles per month. Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Work Environment

This is a remote contract role with an initial term of 4 to 5 months, extendable up to 18 months. The position requires a strategic approach to talent acquisition, focusing on sourcing Engineering and Go-to-Market talent. It offers the flexibility to work virtually, supporting a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
