D & A Services offers a base pay between $17.00 and $23.00 per hour, along with a benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan, BC/BS medical, dental, vision, CASUAL DRESS CODE and more! We have an uncapped bonus structure which rewards Debt Collectors for generating revenue. Top producers earn large bonus checks.

We are seeking a bilingual Debt Collector fluent in Spanish to join our team. As a Debt Collector, you will be responsible for contacting individuals and businesses to collect outstanding debts and payment arrangements. You will need to be able to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients to negotiate repayment plans and resolve any disputes.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting debtors via phone, email, and mail to collect overdue payments
• Negotiating repayment plans and settlements with clients
• Updating account information and documenting all interactions
• Following company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
• Providing excellent customer service to assist clients in resolving their debts

Requirements:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish
• Proven experience as a Debt Collector or in a similar role
• Minimum of one year, recent experience, three years of recent third party credit card collections, preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
• Knowledge of FDCPA regulations
• Basic computer skills
