CNC Programmer / Setup Operator

Hours : 6 : 00am-2 : 30pm (8hr) + Overtime as needed

Pay : 25 – 35 / hr

S&S Numerical is a leading aerospace company supplying our customers with the highest quality interior cabin assemblies.

This position is for a backup CNC programmer / setup operator.  Focusing on editing programs and helping other operators with setups as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Create / edit part programs using Mastercam
• Perform advanced level setup of machines
• Read and edit G and M code on haas machines
• Work with machinists during test run of program to ensure process is good
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools
• Understand and comprehend all forms of technical documents including blueprints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc.
• Maintain a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history.
• Maintain high efficiencies and run rates for given machine.
• Work safely and as part of a high performing team.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Basic machine maintenance
• Conformance to FOD policy
• Document work completed and maintain accurate records
