Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Rad Tech - Technologist Location : Torrington, CT Contract Type : Travel Assignment Contract Length : 13 weeks Work Schedule : 40 hours per week Shifts : Day shift, including the following possible hours : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM Perform high-quality radiologic exams, including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings Operate and troubleshoot various radiographic and portable imaging equipment (Shimadzu XR systems, GE portables, C-arms) Ensure images are properly uploaded and routed through Sectra PACS Document clinical information and patient histories accurately within the Epic EMR system Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and workflow Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols Provide compassionate, professional care while ensuring patient comfort and proper imaging technique Minimum 3 years’ recent relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required Connecticut State License in hand prior to start (mandatory) Demonstrated proficiency with : Epic electronic medical record system Sectra PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Shimadzu XR systems, GE portable x-ray units, and C-arm fluoroscopy units Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Flexible with shift assignments and capable of providing coverage every other weekend About Bestica We are a trusted provider of solutions in Information Technology and Healthcare sectors to the DoD, Federal and Commercial markets.
