Key Responsibilities
- Carry out provider orders accurately and timely, facilitating patient flow and communication to optimize clinic experience.
- Assist with treatments and procedures, ensuring proper consent and preparation of supplies.
- Administer immunizations under provider supervision, maintaining compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with referral coordinators to ensure timely processing.
- Perform daily room checks, stock exam rooms, manage sample medications, and uphold infection control standards.
- Support a clean and safe environment by collaborating with environmental services.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.Graduate of an accredited certified medical assistant program.Licenses and Certifications
Current Medical Assistant Certification and Licensure as required by the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 90 days of hire.Skills and Abilities
