Responsibilities Work in a hospital Operating Room with 15 OR beds, including 2 CVORs Serves a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center Handles primarily adult patients with minimal pediatric cases, mostly orthopedic 1 : 1 patient ratio in the OR Required to circulate in cases including general, trauma, neuro, ENT, vascular, ortho spine, total joints, GYN, urology, plastics, breasts, eyes, and both general and neuro robotics Day shift position : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6 : 30 am to 7 : 00 pm No floating required Known scheduling for weekend and weekday call shifts with a 30-minute response time required EMR system is Cerner Role focused on circulating duties only; scrubbing not required Support provided by OR assistants, desk assistants, charge nurses, and service line team leaders Two-week orientation on day shift is provided, which includes buddy call Expected to work one holiday per contract Green scrubs are provided Onsite parking deck is available First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience Perm staff must wait 6 months before returning as travelers Local candidates are not eligible (must live more than 60 miles away) Requirements Active AL or compact RN license Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience; 1 year experience not accepted ACLS and BLS certifications are required Demonstrated strong experience in trauma (excluding burns), neuro, general, vascular, ENT, ortho spine and total joints, GYN, endovascular, urology, robotics (Mazor / DaVinci XI preferred), plastics, breasts, and eyes cases Experience circulating for the full range of listed specialties Cerner EMR experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638871.
