We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in HVAC / R systems repair and installation. This role involves working with various heating and air conditioning systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and functioning efficiently. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for delivering high-quality service while adhering to safety standards and regulations.
- Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, gas and oil furnaces, gas and oil hot water boilers, ductless split systems and hot water tanks.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to assess system functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to install new HVAC systems according to specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Tech / Installer or similar role in the HVAC / R industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform equipment repairs effectively.
- Familiarity with air conditioning and heating systems.
- Ability to read technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license is required for transportation to job sites.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
