Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes, centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimizing processes and installing automation.

As a Credit Analyst, you will be using your German skills to work with international clients. With your experience in finance and accounting you will be responsible for credit assessment and analysis, compliance and risk management while maintaining a strong relationship with all key stakeholders.

Your tasks will include :

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to gauge the likelihood of repayment and identify potential credit risks.
  • Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for credit limits and terms.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of clients' financial health, focusing on liquidity, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Regularly monitor and review clients' financial performance to detect any changes in credit risk.
  • Make informed credit decisions and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on credit policies and decisions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in German to gather necessary information and explain credit decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate credit risk and protect company assets

To be a good fit for the Credit Analyst role, you will have :

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
  • Possess at least 3 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst, ideally within financial institutions or financial service providers.
  • Experience with financial modelling and risk assessment tools / software.
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Be fluent in German, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Show proficiency in using financial analysis software and tools.
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
