Payroll Specialist
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, while continuously improving payroll processes and supporting business decision-making through data insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Payroll Processing Administer the full payroll cycle for Singapore employees, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with MOM, CPF, and IRAS regulations.
- Statutory Compliance & Reporting Ensure timely submission of statutory filings such as CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS claims, and other payroll-related government submissions.
- Process Improvement & Automation Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline payroll operations and enhance efficiency.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation Validate timesheets, claims, and payroll inputs; reconcile payroll reports and ensure accurate monthly payroll provisions for Finance.
- Benefits & Commission Oversight Ensure that employee benefits, sales commissions, and reimbursements comply with local tax regulations and company policies.
- Payroll Analytics & Reporting Generate and maintain payroll dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to support business insights and decision-making.
- Employee Support Respond to payroll-related queries and provide guidance to employees on payroll matters in a timely and professional manner.
- Documentation & Record Keeping Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure proper documentation for audits and internal controls.
- Ad Hoc Duties Support Finance and HR teams with payroll-related projects and tasks as assigned.
- Review and validate payroll inputs provided by the external payroll vendor for Philippines employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Support invoice validation and reconciliation related to payroll and employee-related expenses.
