Location : Austin, Texas (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Type : Contract

Hourly Rate : $21.64

About the Role :

Our Global Business Solutions (GBS) organization is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance operations team in Austin, TX. This role supports one of the world’s leading technology companies and plays a key part in managing customer credit portfolios, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely payments.

You’ll handle account reconciliations, analyze payment history, and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data accuracy in SAP and Excel. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing high transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage customer accounts and ensure on-time payments.
  • Analyze customer credit limits, payment history, and risk.
  • Reconcile large-volume accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Generate and analyze aging and reconciliation reports from SAP and Excel .
  • Release orders based on credit availability and company risk guidelines.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve past-due accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal partners in Sales, Operations, and Finance.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly portfolio performance goals.

Qualifications :

  • 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Collections.
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliations, credit management, and collections processes .
  • Experience using SAP (FI-AR module) required; advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
