Senior Product Designer - Design the Future of Health

At Youtopia Marketplace, we're redefining health through precision nourishment automation-a revolution that makes vibrant health and longevity to 120 a simply and achievable reality for all of us.

Our mission is clear : to end the personal health crisis caused by broken food and healthcare systems. Through advanced diagnostics, intelligent food matching, and chef-prepared meals, we're building a world where the healthy choice is the easy choice.

We believe that food isn't just fuel, it's a sacred system of design. Every touchpoint we create, from the digital experience to the physical journey, must reflect that same purpose and mission.

That's where you come in.

We're searching for a Senior Product Designer who merges systems thinking, spatial logic, and experience flow, also with mastery in digital product design using Figma. Someone who can translate complex health and logistics challenges into clear, intuitive, human-centered experiences that inspire trust and joy.

About the Role

You'll be a key member of our growing product and design organization, leading end-to-end design for our consumer and producer platforms. You'll shape the product experience across web and mobile, build scalable design systems, and help define how technology can restore health through simplicity.

This role blends strategic problem-solving, hands-on design execution, and collaborative leadership. You'll work closely with engineering, product, and leadership to bring new features like nutrient scoring and tele-health journeys to producer payouts and meal customization to life with elegance and precision.

What You'll Do

  • Lead design for core Youtopia digital experiences (mobile and web).
  • Translate big-picture problems-health, food systems, and data complexity-into intuitive, emotionally resonant design solutions.
  • Create high-fidelity Figma wireframes and prototypes that communicate both functionality and feeling.
  • Develop and maintain a unified design system that bridges our physical, digital, and human touchpoints.
  • Contribute to brand evolution-ensuring visual harmony across web, mobile, packaging, and in-person experiences.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and refine interactions.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, performant, and implemented with fidelity.
  • Advocate for design excellence and accessibility standards across the organization.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, helping refine requirements and ensure alignment between user needs and product goals.

Who You Are

  • You think like an industrial designer-systems, interactions, flow, and usability across digital and physical dimensions.
  • You design like a product strategist-every pixel, transition, and hierarchy has intent and business impact.
  • You execute like a craftsperson-precise, thoughtful, and relentless about beauty and function coexisting.
  • You care deeply about human health, nourishment, and meaningful design.
  • What You Bring

    Required Skills

  • 6+ years of experience in digital product design with a strong foundation in industrial or systems design.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma for collaborative product design and prototyping.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, from concept to shipped product.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and human-centered design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite for visual design, brand, and marketing assets.
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams alongside engineers and product managers.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain scalable design systems.
  • Excellent communication skills-able to articulate design rationale and guide stakeholder alignment.
  • Preferred Experience

  • Degree in Systems Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or similar.
  • Experience designing for health, wellness, or nutrition-related products.
  • Familiarity with hybrid mobile design (iOS / Android) and responsive web.
  • Comfort designing motion or micro-interactions (e.g., After Effects or Lottie).
  • Experience conducting and synthesizing user research into actionable insights.
  • Soft Skills

  • Emotionally intelligent and grounded-able to work with heart, humility, and focus.
  • Balances creative vision with data-informed iteration and a quick moving company.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Naturally collaborative; uplifts peers and builds trust across teams.
  • Strong sense of ownership-you don't wait to be told what to fix, you improve it.
  • Why Youtopia

  • Purpose-Driven Work : Help build technology that restores human health at scale.
  • High-Growth Environment : Shape design culture in a fast-evolving startup.
  • Collaborative Team : Work alongside engineers, nutritionists, chefs, and visionaries united by impact.
