The Position

As a Research Associate in the PHCS Assay Development Team you are responsible for conducting research development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects. You thrive in a fast-paced cross-functional team the day-to-day you apply technical expertise to design execute and interpret experiments that support project strategies prepare scientific documentation and participate in cross-functional product characterization studies. Familiarity with the product development process in highly regulated industries particularly in vitro diagnostics and ensuring compliance with GMP GLP and Design Control procedures is highly desirable.

The Opportunity

• Developing and optimizingexperimental protocols with minimal supervision and designing methods to address diverse and complex scientific problems.
• Conducting and analyzingbench experiments while maintaining detailed observations and accurate records.
• Preparing and presentingtechnical reports summaries and quantitative analyses for group and project teams.
• Suggesting and implementingimprovements to work processes laboratory environments and project planning.
• Applying judgmentto select methods and techniques within generally defined practices and policies to obtain effective solutions.
• Collaborating and contributingas a productive team member participating in cross-functional teams and failure investigations as needed.
• Training and mentoringteam members in areas of expertise while troubleshooting challenges and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitoring and maintainingquality standards promoting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with established guidelines and best practices.

The expected salary range for this position based on Tucson is 57000.00 - 81400.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience qualifications geographic location and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
