As a material handler, we need someone who is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials. Pay Rate : Entry Rate : $18.04, 3 months Progression Increase : $19.13, Shift Differential : $0.50. Shift : 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday. 4 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM. Primary Objective : Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to the packing station or shipping area.

Major Function and Scope : Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling / assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy / completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor product, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts. Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, processing stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims. Operates forklift equipment. Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom and general office maintenance, etc. Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management. Performs other related duties as required.

Experience and Knowledge Required : High School diploma or equivalent experience; Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator. 1 or more years of previous distribution / warehouse experience. Must have a minimum of 6 months of previous experience operating stand-up forklift or order picker equipment; no experience required for pallet jack.
