This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on Oracle's data center projects by driving technical excellence in project controls and data-driven decision-making. You will lead the way in implementing advanced methodologies, leveraging data management and analytics, and optimizing project control tools and reporting. Your work will establish project control and governance across the entire organization, enabling scale, optimization, and delivery excellence for Oracle's rapidly expanding global data center portfolio.

Responsibilities

Project Control & Data-Driven Insights

Implement and optimize project control methodologies, including earned value management (EVM), to enhance cost and schedule performance.

Enforce data management standards to ensure project control data is accurate, complete, and consistently structured.

Analyze large datasets related to project costs, schedules, and performance to derive actionable insights.

Develop automated reporting dashboards to provide real-time project health indicators for leadership and key stakeholders.

Establish data quality checks and metadata standards to maintain confidence in analytics and reporting.

Tools, Technology & Governance

Serve as the subject matter expert for project management and analytics tools such as Primavera and enterprise reporting platforms.

Manage and optimize these tools, providing training and support to the project control team.

Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance data integration, reporting automation, and advanced analytics capabilities.

Provide global governance by enforcing Plan of Record (POR) rules, standardized templates, and intake discipline across the organization to achieve scale, optimization, and delivery excellence.

Risk, Change & Performance Management

Lead the risk assessment and mitigation process, identifying potential issues and developing proactive strategies.

Oversee the change control process, ensuring changes are properly evaluated, approved, and implemented.

Maintain comprehensive performance dashboards and reports, providing visibility to project stakeholders and executives.

Analyze project KPIs and trends, identifying areas for improvement and making data-backed recommendations.

Partner with finance, engineering, and operations to integrate project data with corporate analytics platforms, ensuring alignment with POR and baseline metrics.

Collaboration & Leadership

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, finance, and operations teams to ensure project success.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of data-driven decision making and knowledge sharing.

Continuously seek ways to streamline project control processes, reduce complexity, and improve efficiency.

Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project control and data management activities.

Requirements

7-9 years of experience in a technical program / project management role with a strong focus on project control, data management, or a related field.

Background in technology enabled change ideally with either datacenter or IT services experience

Proven ability to create effective relationships, listen, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels

PMP certification preferred, along with advanced knowledge of project management and analytics tools such as Primavera or similar platforms.

Proven expertise in data analytics and reporting, including the ability to work with large, complex datasets and create meaningful insights.

Experience developing and implementing project control processes, including EVM, risk management, change control, and data governance practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset, capable of making informed decisions using analytics and real-time dashboards.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, effectively conveying technical and analytical insights to diverse audiences.

Bachelor's degree in a technical or relevant field; Master's degree is advantageous.

Demonstrated ability to think from a business / outcome perspective and translate that into executable delivery and clear accountabilities

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
