HR / Payroll Associate

Location : Florence, SC

Pay Rate : $18 / hour

Employment Type : Temporary to Permanent

Olsten Staffing has an immediate opening for an HR / Payroll Associate with a well-established company. This role works directly with HR, performing payroll duties and coordinating employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities :

• Partner with the leadership team to implement talent strategies, including recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Support organizational goals, values, and daily HR operations.
• Compile payroll data, including hours worked, sales volume, bonuses, commissions, tax withholdings, and employee contributions to insurance and retirement plans.
• Enter, maintain, and process payroll information, including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, paid leave, deductions, and employee updates.
• Provide excellent service to employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Perform other HR and payroll duties as assigned.
• Duties and responsibilities may be reassigned as business needs require.

Qualifications :

3-5 years of payroll experience required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Confident, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality.
