Heavy Equipment Operator

Pay : $25$35 / hour, depending on experience and equipment skills. Weekly pay. Hours : Monday thru Friday / / 7AM 5PM.

We are looking for a dependable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a scraper to cut to grade, leveling and preparing the terrain for final grading by Finish Dozer operators. The operator will be responsible for efficiently moving earth by scraping and loading material into the scraper bowl for relocation or removal, ensuring the ground is even and ready for the next phase of work.

Responsibilities :

• Operate heavy equipment, specifically CAT Challenger Pull Scrapers and Quadtrac Scrapers.
• Perform cutting to grade, evenly leveling the terrain.
• Conduct pre-inspection and end-of-day inspection of the equipment.
• Report any mechanical concerns or issues to management promptly.
• Ensure professional conduct and appearance according to the site's code of conduct.
• Communicate effectively and maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safety.

Skills :

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
