Fixed Income Product Controller

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Fixed Income Product Controller

Position type : Contract

Duration : 6+ Months

Location : New York 10020 (Hybrid)

Description :

As a Fixed Income Product Controller , you will : -

• Collaborate closely with front office teams to produce daily, weekly, and monthly P&L results and analysis
• Investigate and resolve P&L discrepancies due to trade booking errors, missing deals, system issues, or valuation challenges
• Liaise with internal teams including Front Office, Operations, Technology, Middle Office, and Market Risk
• Enhance the Internal Control environment by evaluating existing controls and adopting best practices
• Complete month-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation
• Manage ad hoc requests from the trading desk
• Lead process and system improvements through active participation in project initiatives
• Assess new trades for appropriate valuation, accounting treatment, and financial statement disclosure

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will Have : Experience in Product Control experience, financial, accounting, Municipals and Loan Trading (LoanIQ)
