PRIMARY PURPOSE : Responsible for various risk pool client accounting functions including the performance of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and investment reconciliation, and other accounting duties according to established procedures. To prepare the necessary reports and communicate the results to management.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Education & Licensing : Associate degree in Accounting / Finance from an accredited college or university preferred.

Experience : Three to four (3-4) years of related experience to include two (2) years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience including financial statement preparation and insurance accounting, both statutory and GAAP, preferred.

NOTE : Credit security clearance, confirmed via a background credit check, is required for this position.

As required by law, Sedgwick provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is $26.00 to $29.00 USD per hour. A comprehensive benefits package is offered including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k and matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, employee assistance, flexible spending or health savings account, and other additional voluntary benefits.
