Athenix Solutions Group is looking for a Communication Network Engineer II for a large program in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Communications Network Engineer will monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and / or evaluate hardware, software and other network related problems; provide technical expertise for performance and / or configuration of the global networks and systems. They will perform general LAN / CAN / WAN administration, schedule conversions and cutover, as well as coordinate with all responsible users and sites to resolve network or system incidents.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for monitoring, tracking and evaluating global Information Technology Infrastructure (ITI) incidents
• Assist customers with resolving problems to include performance and configuration
• Provide support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, design and orders
• Provide in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives for government agencies
• Provide interface support to telecommunications end users, telecommunications operations personnel, and telecommunications strategic program management
• Provides telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures
