Purchasing & Permitting Specialist – Join Our Customer Care Team

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Location : On-site, Byron Center, MI

Compensation : Starting at $20 / hour

We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing & Permitting Specialist to join our Customer Care team. In this role, you'll be responsible for making sure every project is fully prepared and set up for success — from permits and materials to customer communication.

What You'll Do

Manage Permitting : Submit, track, and follow up on permits with municipalities to keep projects compliant and on schedule.

Oversee Purchasing : Process purchase orders, verify accuracy, and track materials to ensure everything is ready for installation.

Customer Communication : Make and receive calls to confirm project details, provide updates, and answer customer questions.

Project Coordination : Work closely with operations, sales, and installation teams to keep projects moving forward.

Documentation : Maintain accurate records for permits, purchase orders, and contracts.

What We're Looking For

Experience in purchasing, permitting, or project coordination (construction or remodeling experience a plus).

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Comfortable making calls to customers, vendors, and municipalities.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
