Job descriptionJanuary 1, 2026 Open / Ongoing Patient Demographics : Adults Admissions : Included Rounding : Included Case Mix : General Hospitalist Medicine Office Equipment Available : Standard hospital equipment Specialty Backup Available : Available per hospital resources Support Staff Available : RNs, APPs, and allied support staff Reason for Coverage : Supplemental coverage need Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : Not Specified Credentialing Timeline : Approximately 65 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered General inpatient care Admission and discharge management Emergency response and acute stabilization Cross-coverage for inpatient units Licenses : Active Missouri medical license required Board : Board Certified preferred (EM, FP, IM). BE accepted with experience. DEA : Active DEA certification required Certifications : ACLS, ATLS, PALS required Experience : ER experience required for FP / IM physicians Other Qualifications : Must have MO license, board certification, and DEA in hand before submission Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage during daytime hours Manage admissions, rounding, and discharges Collaborate with nursing and support staff for coordinated care Respond to inpatient medical issues as needed Ensure quality and compliance with hospital policies
