Associate Attorney- Remote

Overview

We have partnered with a top-ranking boutique firm in the Los Angeles area that has experienced consistent growth. This firm has excellent tenure, with most staff (attorneys and support staff) having been with the firm for 10+ years. If you have complex business litigation experience and are interested in joining a firm whose attorneys have stepped away from the Big Law daily grind, this may be an opportunity for you.

The billable hours are 1800, the firm goes to trial about once per year and has multiple arbitrations per year. This team specifically is working with on defend consumer claims, including individual claims in State and Federal Court, and class action defense. They work with premier in-house legal departments. You will be given the chance to have significant client contact, grow your business as an attorney with an individualized partnership track (if you are interested). The team has 7 attorneys and a paralegal - all are accustomed to working remote.

Base pay range

$175,000.00 / yr - $225,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

• Defend consumer claims, including individual claims in State and Federal Court and class action defense.
• Handle complex business litigation matters with a focus on motion practice and discovery; familiarity with depositions.
• Exposure to taking / defending depositions (required).
• Work with premier in-house legal departments; significant client contact; opportunity for an individualized partnership track.
• Remote-friendly environment with offices in Manhattan Beach and Downtown LA for those who prefer in-person work.
