The Industrial Construction Project Manager at EnerMech is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering industrial construction projects from planning through completion. This role ensures all work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with EnerMech’s standards, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. The PM provides strong leadership across all project phases—managing teams, subcontractors, schedules, cost control, risk mitigation, and communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Job Discerption
- Lead all phases of EnerMech construction projects including pre-construction, design coordination, procurement, field execution, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with clearly defined milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and change orders.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and EnerMech EMS safety standards on all job sites.
- Ensure full adherence to environmental requirements and all EnerMech QA / QC processes.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and financial documentation.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications with accuracy and transparency.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule and budget integrity.
- Direct and supervise EnerMech field personnel and subcontractors to ensure work meets project expectations.
- Lead daily or weekly coordination meetings to maintain alignment across teams and disciplines.
- Serve as EnerMech’s primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide consistent project updates, progress reports, and clear communication.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and EnerMech leadership.
- Prepare and manage project documentation including meeting minutes, permits, schedules, and correspondence.
- Complete project closeout requirements including punch lists, turnover packages, and as-built drawings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).5+ years of experience managing industrial or heavy construction projects.Proven experience in sectors such as oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, mining, or large industrial facilities.Proficiency with project management software such as P6, MS Project, and Procore.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.Strong understanding of OSHA, environmental regulations, and QA / QC procedures.Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced industrial environments.Ability to climb, walk uneven terrain, and regularly visit active construction sites.Comfortable working in industrial settings such as plants, refineries, and fabrication yards.Benefits
