$42 to $50 per hour

About The Position

Catalytic Solutions has partnered with a renowned acute care facility in Del Rio, TX. We are seeking full-time, on-site Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our rehabilitation team in an acute care and inpatient setting.

Job Type :  Contract (Full-time)

Pay Rate : $2000 / Week

Job Summary :

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide rehabilitative services to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The PTA will assist with implementing treatment plans, help patients regain mobility and strength, and support functional independence. This role will include working in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy settings within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Carry out physical therapy treatment plans as directed by supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility interventions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe movement techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Monitor patient safety and adjust activities as needed based on patient tolerance.
  • Collaborate with the rehab team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, nurses, physicians) to support integrated care.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients of all ages.

Job Requirements

  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current Texas PTA license in good standing.
  • Prior experience in a hospital, inpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and dedication to patient care.
  • Ability to adapt to a rural healthcare environment and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
