Job Title : Maintenance Manager Department : Engineering
Reports to : VP of Engineering
Job Summary : The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of the company’s facilities, including maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance policies and procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Develops maintenance procedures and ensures implementation.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build positive business relationships and show a sense of urgency.
- Resilient and flexible, able to multitask and prioritize with an innate ability to understand and accept change and motivate others around change.
- Manages and assigns work orders. Prioritizes by urgency and severity of the issue.
- Oversees preventative maintenance and CMMS system
- Ensures operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
- Monitors equipment inventory and places orders when necessary. Identifies best value, reducing maintenance overhead when possible.
- Other jobs as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
5+ years of supervisory experience with a strong focus on the development of employeesMaintenance Supervisors and Technicians (20+)Required Skills / Abilities :
Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.Exceptional time management skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Proficient with Microsoft Office software.Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required.7+ years related experience required.Physical Requirements :
Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force occasionally.Frequently required to stand and walk.
