Summary of Essential Job Functions You Will Learn :
Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTake impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulseHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresAt a Glance
Experience : 2+ years in customer service, medical office setting preferredJob Type : Full-timeCompensation and Schedule
