Manager, Development (Acquisitions)
The Manager, Development (Acquisitions) plays a lead role in the development and execution of acquisition strategy and in the deal negotiation / structuring, financial analysis, deal execution and market research and analysis. The Manager reports to the Senior Vice President, Development.
Responsibilities :
- Works with others to develop a strategy to guide the Company's acquisition focus areas
- Does market research and analysis to identify acquisition opportunities
- Obtains and analyzes business and financial information from target companies
- Develops financial pro formas and models related to acquisition opportunities and works with operations to determine fits with existing operations including potential business synergies
- Structures and negotiates transaction terms in consultation with the Senior Vice President, Development
- Leads the due diligence process for potential acquisitions
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required, MBA or other business-related advanced degree desirableOne to four years' experience in acquisition-related business / activitiesExperience developing financial models, pro formas and projectionsKnowledge of Company's core businessesStrong analytical and problem resolution skills with high attention to detail and organizationExcellent communication (oral and written) skillsExtensive knowledge of current industry trends, standards, and practicesAbility to communicate effectively and professionally (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel internal and external to the companyProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointAbility to develop rapport and relationships with owners / managers of target companiesProven analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentStrong interpersonal and oral communication skillsAbility to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environmentAbility to conduct research and market analysisHighly self-motivated and directedKeen attention to detailPercentage of Travel : 0-25%About our Line of Business :
