Job Title :

• DIGITAL MEDIA INSTRUCTOR Department : OPERATIONS Reports TO :   CLUB DIRECTOR FLSA Status : NON-EXEMPT Primary Function : The Digital Media Youth Development Professional is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating engaging digital media programs that inspire creativity, build skills, and support positive youth development at assigned Club sites.
• This role combines technical expertise with mentorship, guiding youth through hands-on experiences in video, audio, graphic design, and emerging technologies while modeling professionalism, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.   Primary Responsibilities (not all-inclusive) Program Delivery Create and implement lesson plans that engage youth in digital media projects (video production, graphic design, animation, photography, 3D modeling, digital painting).
• Facilitate hands-on instruction using industry-standard software and equipment.
• Manage classroom dynamics to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare members for showcases, exhibitions, or competitions.
• Youth Development Build strong relationships with members, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Support social, emotional, and leadership development through creative projects.
• Encourage consistent participation, teamwork, and positive self-expression.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, creativity, and collaboration.
• Technical & Lab Management Oversee use and care of program equipment (computers, cameras, editing tools, lighting, etc.).
• Teach practical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and related platforms.
• Develop engaging projects that integrate design, film, photography, and digital storytelling.
