Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and at least 1 year of experience for inpatient and outpatient MRI scans.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based MRI unit serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
  • Perform MRI scans including brain (perfusion, functional, spectroscopy), body (enterography, defecography), musculoskeletal, breast (including biopsy), and spine studies
  • Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM, Monday to Wednesday
  • On-call required every 3–4 weeks from Friday to Sunday
  • Uses specialized MRI equipment and imaging protocols
  • Must complete OSHA respirator clearance prior to start
  • Candidates must be clean shaven to pass FIT testing
  • Mandatory completion of allied health modules prior to start
  • Maximum assignment duration is 1 year; a 6-month break is required before returning
  • All application materials and references must not contain logos

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT MR certification is required
  • Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience required
  • ARMRIT is not accepted
  • Must provide two professional references from a supervisor within the past two years
  • Cannot have lived within 70 miles of the facility (local candidates not accepted)
  • License required if applicable
