About Grand Summit HOA :

The Grand Summit is a premier slopeside resort located in the heart of Canyons Village at Park City Mountain. The Grand Summit Homeowners Association (HOA) oversees the maintenance, operations, and management of the property's shared spaces, amenities, and building infrastructure.

Position Summary :

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the Grand Summit's common areas, mechanical systems, and building infrastructure. This position ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality, supporting the HOA's commitment to exceptional owner and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Building Maintenance :

Perform routine inspections of the property's interior and exterior to identify maintenance needs.

  • Maintain common areas, amenities, and back-of-house areas to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Conduct seasonal maintenance projects, snow removal, and landscaping support as needed.
  • Coordinate and monitor contractor work for specialized repairs and capital projects.
  • Preventative Maintenance :
  • Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on building systems and equipment.

  • Maintain maintenance logs and service records in compliance with HOA and industry standards.
  • Identify potential equipment issues early and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Safety & Compliance :
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with building codes, OSHA standards, and HOA policies.

  • Respond promptly to emergencies and after-hours maintenance calls as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop, equipment inventory, and tool tracking.
  • Collaboration & Communication :
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisors and the Director of Engineering to support day-to-day operations.

  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, guests, vendors, and staff.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade certification.
  • Experience in facility maintenance, hospitality, or property management environment.
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools, equipment, and computerized work order systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license required.
