We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III to join our team supporting the Department of Navy. Responsibilities

• Apply expertise in computer security, military system specifications, and DoD cybersecurity policies to secure classified and unclassified networks.
• Lead the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and develop boundary defense strategies using various IA-enabled appliances, including :
• Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Routers / Switches, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS), Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS), and eMASS.
• Execute secure configuration and STIG implementation on DoD systems and applications.
• Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments using the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other DoD tools.
• Remediate findings through patch management and secure configuration on both Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Interpret and apply security management guidance, directives, and policy frameworks to ensure compliance with evolving DoD cybersecurity standards.
• Prepare and manage RMF documentation packages, POA&Ms, and ATO artifacts for system accreditation and continuous monitoring.
