LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pathology MD in Connecticut!

About The Position

We are seeking a licensed AP / CP Pathologist for a 48-week locum tenens assignment in Connecticut, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role at a small hospital offers day shifts, Monday-Friday, with flexible scheduling and vacation weeks. The successful candidate will join another pathologist, enhancing the hospital's diagnostic capabilities in a low-volume setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

Work alongside another pathologist to manage and diagnose pathological specimens

Review and interpret slides and diagnostic data

Collaborate with PAs who assist in grossing slides

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of pathology reports

Contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory practices

Additional Information

Must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology or Clinical Pathology / Laboratory Medicine

Requires a Connecticut medical license

Experience with Meditech EHR is advantageous

Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
