Job description Job Overview :  Roots to Blooms LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our innovative team in a unique, nature-inspired ABA setting. The BCBA will lead and manage behavior intervention programs for clients with developmental and behavioral challenges in rural community centers. You will provide guidance to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists (OT), physical therapists (PT), speech-language pathologists (SLP), Special Education Home School Co-Op providers, and various other therapeutic disciplines to ensure comprehensive support for our clients. All this will be accomplished within the framework of our holistic philosophy that integrates the calming and restorative elements of nature. This position is hybrid, with the expectation to work both in the field at community centers, client homes and remotely. You will have the opportunity to implement innovative strategies that align with our philosophy of integrating nature into therapy. Key Responsibilities :  - Behavior Intervention Plans : Design, implement, and oversee individualized behavior intervention plans tailored to meet each clients unique needs. Use evidence-based practices to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing problem behaviors and enhancing positive behaviors. - Nature-Inspired Therapeutic Approaches : Collaborate with your team to utilize outdoor therapeutic settingssuch as gardens and walking trailsin rural locations to create engaging activities that promote learning and foster connections with the environment, enhancing the therapeutic experience. - Supervision and Training : Provide direct supervision and mentoring to RBTs, ensuring the implementation of behavior intervention plans aligns with best practices and ethical guidelines. Facilitate ongoing training to enhance their skills and professional development. - Interdisciplinary Team Collaboration : Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including OT, PT, SLP, Special Education Home School Co-Op providers, and other therapy specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Promote teamwork and communication among all stakeholders to optimize client outcomes. - Data Collection and Analysis :  Oversee the accurate recording and analysis of client data to monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Ensure data practices are rigorous, reliable, and used effectively to inform treatment decisions. - Family Education and Support :

  • Engage and support families in rural communities by providing training and resources to help them implement behavior strategies in daily routines. Foster strong relationships with clients and their families, ensuring they feel empowered and involved in the intervention process. - Professional Conduct and Ethics : Uphold the ethical standards and professional guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and transparency in all interactions. - Ongoing Professional Development : Stay abreast of the latest developments in behavior analysis and related fields through educational opportunities, workshops, and continued training. Encourage an environment of curiosity and continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications :  - Certification : Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) is required. A masters degree in behavior analysis, psychology, or a related field is preferred. - Experience : A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges is preferred, along with supervisory experience. - Interpersonal Skills : Exceptional communication, leadership, and observational skills are essential. The ability to form meaningful connections with clients, families, and team members is crucial. - Creativity and Flexibility : This role requires adaptability and a willingness to embrace creativity.
