Facility Setting : Emergency Department (Main Campus & Freestanding ED)

Start Date : October 6, 2025

End Date : January 5, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Dress Code : Teal scrubs

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,630 - $1,750 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications

ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications preferred

Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Strong teamwork and clinical support skills; ability to excel in a fast-paced healthcare environment

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with acute and critical conditions

Monitor, assess, and treat patients using advanced equipment (monitors, pumps, EKG, rapid infuser, ultrasound)

Document patient care and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members including RNs, medics, and clinical techs

Float between main campus and freestanding Emergency Department locations as needed

Maintain patient ratios of 4 : 1, with flexibility to 6 : 1 during peak times
