Position Overview We are seeking an Emergency Department Physician to provide expert care for patients presenting with acute medical conditions. As the first point of contact for emergent cases, the physician plays a critical role in delivering timely and effective treatment. The Emergency Department Physician will report directly to the Medical Director, with administrative oversight from the VP of Patient Care Services. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary : $200 / hour (dayo shift) and $236 / hour (night shift)Sign-on BonusPaid RelocationFull Malpractice CoverageHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceRetirement Plans : 403(b) with match (100% vested) & 457(b) tax-deferred plan$3,500 CME Allowance$10,000 Annual Performance Bonus (Quality Improvement Goals)Short- and Long-Term DisabilityEducational Loan Repayment Available Key Responsibilities Assess and stabilize patients with minor and critical conditions.Administer medications, perform minor procedures, and coordinate admissions or transfers.Work collaboratively with the medical team to ensure the highest level of patient care.Provide timely and comprehensive documentation of patient records.Adapt to the unique challenges of a rural healthcare setting.Work a typical schedule of 12 shifts per month, including a mix of : 7 AM 7 PM10 AM 9 PM7 PM 7 AMFlexible scheduling available for vacation months. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (Physicians with significant ER experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis).Vermont Medical License.Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications (or Board Certification in Emergency Medicine).
