Position Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management of the Human Resources Office. This scope of work includes recruiting applicants scheduling meetings and appointments managing benefit plans distributing policies & procedures maintaining personnel records researching applicable employment laws assisting with payroll actions and activities assisting in the development of personnel policies scheduling employee performance appraisals and assisting with relevant training. This position will entail constant contact interactions with employees.

Education :
Minimum : Associates degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Preferred : Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Experience :
Minimum : Two (2) years clerical experience (emphasis in Human Resources / Benefit coordination preferred) and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be evaluated.
Preferred : PHR SPHR NNAHRA Certifications experience working with Tribal organizations

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly is required to sit; use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment :
Work is generally performed in an office setting with a moderate noise level. Evening and / or weekend work may be required. Occasions may arise requiring work outdoors where exposure to natural weather conditions may occur. There is constant interaction with the public other agencies and employees. Tight-time constraints and multiple demands from several sources are common. Infrequent travel may be required for training meetings conferences presentations and other events.
