Role Overview

We are seeking an Ivy League–educated, high-performing attorney with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for thought leadership to serve as Deputy General Counsel. This is not a traditional in-house role—it’s a launchpad for a rising legal star who wants to lead in an environment of innovation, technology adoption, and strategic disruption.

You will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Legal Officer to lead a world-class legal and compliance function, drive the adoption of AI-powered legal solutions, and play a key role in governance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to the executive team, board members, regulators, and global partners.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Oversight

• Lead and inspire the Legal and Compliance teams, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and a culture of innovation.
• Act as the first-line advisor for legal and compliance matters, escalating to the CLO as needed.
• Provide direct mentorship, professional development, and growth pathways for a high-performing team.

The annual starting base salary for this position is $250,000, with the potential of a performance-based bonus or incentive. While we anticipate this compensation range, it is not a guaranteed salary.
