Job Title : Residential Associate

Location : River’s Edge Acute Center for Healing, Hermiston, OR

Schedule : Full-time, Day Shift (Mon–Thurs, 10am–9pm)

Pay Range : $18.65 – $25.77 / hr (DOE)

Supervisor : Facility Assistant Administrator

Position Overview

Residential Associates support clients in developing skills for independence, recovery, and well-being. This includes assisting with personal care, daily living, health needs, community access, and recovery-based services. The role involves direct interaction, supervision, crisis management, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide services aligned with residents’ personal care plans, including skills training and recovery support.

Supervise and interact with clients in the facility and community.

Assist with daily activities : meals, housekeeping, hygiene, appointments, and transportation.

Administer medications per physician orders and agency policy.

Monitor behavior, de-escalate crises, and ensure client and staff safety.

Document daily activities, incidents, and progress per CCS policies and OAR requirements.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold CCS’s mission, policies, and values.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and ability to pass a criminal background check.

Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift, transfer, and physically assist clients as needed.

Comfortable working flexible hours in varied environments, including during crises.
