The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing a safe, secure, and attractive living environment for residents, visitors, and staff and assisting the Community Manager with all aspects of the maintenance program. The Maintenance Supervisor will conduct regular inspections and works with staff to implement preventative maintenance measures to reduce costly repairs and maintain current property values. The Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating tenant repairs to ensure buildings and amenities are kept in good repair.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

Financial

Identify opportunities to decrease costs and bring recommendations to the Community Manager

Maintenance

Inspect and oversee property maintenance and operations; establish and monitor preventative maintenance measures; coordinate tenant repairs to ensure buildings and amenities are kept in good repair

Safety

Walk the property regularly to locate any safety hazards and report them immediately to the Community Manager to be resolved

Administrative

Provide complete and accurate records for all work completed; record work orders and service requests and provide copies to the Community Manager

Requirements :

Minimum two years previous experience in property management or related field preferred. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, HVAC, appliances, pools, and general maintenance. Ability to operate hand and power tools, measuring devices, and other equipment necessary to perform work. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
