GENERAL PURPOSE

Leads specialized finance-related activities to support the MillerKnoll Americas Contract segment. Partnering with business leaders and other finance counterparts, this individual will support the company with financial analysis, forecasts, projections, and strategic planning. This role is also responsible for analyzing business trends, vetting new business opportunities, and creating recommendations for management. Assignments typically provide exposure to complex financial and business-related concepts, issues, and activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborates with Management to provide strategic guidance and sound business decision support through proper financial analysis, collaboration and critical thinking.
• Provide and summarize financial analysis and performance to senior leadership on business initiatives, new opportunities, strategy, and risks & opportunities.
• Coordinates / oversees and liaisons with MillerKnoll finance, both domestic and international.
• Develops and independently implements work strategies, financial models, and budgeting tools to achieve desired results.
• Influences business decisions by effectively forecasting, preparing and presenting financial forecasts.
• Leverages extensive internal / external contacts at all levels in the organization and confer with leadership & internal business partners on unusual issues / situations.
• May provide support on special projects, as they arise, such as business acquisitions, divestitures or new products.
• Works with cross-functional areas to identify and implement continuous process improvements.
• Conducts activities in accordance with GAAP and established MillerKnoll guidelines.
• Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
