We are seeking a senior-level Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist and Technical Advisor to support the Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS) program. This role combines logistics expertise with deep technical understanding of submarine combat systems, providing a unique opportunity to influence how next-generation U.S. Navy systems are maintained, operated, and documented.

Job Summary :

You will lead ILS product development while serving as a key technical advisor in the implementation and support of Common Infrastructure Services (CIS) and Common Computing Environment (CCE). You'll ensure technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and training materials are fleet-relevant, accurate, and aligned with evolving system capabilities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities :

• Lead development and review of ILS products, including technical manuals, training materials, and maintenance documentation
• Participate in design reviews, software implementation demos, and technical interchange meetings (TIMs)
• Provide operational feedback on feature design and implementation impacts to engineering and technical writing teams
• Validate and refine Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) content for usability, technical accuracy, and structural integrity
• Collaborate with system engineers, software developers, and government stakeholders to resolve content discrepancies
• Translate complex system behavior into maintainable and user-friendly technical documentation
• Develop and review preventive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides, and configuration documentation
• Support Navy testing events (both in labs and on submarines), including validation of test procedures
• Participate in Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and documentation review boards

Salary Note

Combined Salary Range

USD $81,446.00 - USD $88,128.00 / Yr.
