Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to advance energy markets modeling for clean-tech power solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, evaluate, automate, optimize, and monitor performance of new data science models and algorithms

Experiment with various data science modeling approaches in Python and research state-of-the-art techniques for energy forecasting

Support existing commercial software and production systems while optimizing computational efficiency of algorithms

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Power Systems, or related discipline

1+ years of industry or academic experience in the field

Experience in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, SciPy)

Proficiency in time series modeling and advanced statistics

Prior knowledge of or strong interest in wholesale electricity markets
