About the Role :

Join our dynamic team at MID-ATLANTIC DERMATOLOGY CENTER PC as a Biologic Coordinator! In this vital role, you will support our patients in navigating their biologic treatment options( Dupixent, Skyrizi, Taltz, etc.) , while working alongside a dedicated team of dermatology professionals in Virginia Beach, VA.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and manage patient biologic therapy schedules and follow-ups.
• Educate patients on biologic treatments and manage their expectations.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Assist in insurance authorization processes for biologic therapies.
• Monitor patient progress and report any concerns to the clinical team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in biologic treatments and dermatology.

Requirements :

• Previous experience in a healthcare or dermatology setting preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of biologic therapies and treatment protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
